Fred Lonsdale is a serious engineer and, since early in the Summer (2008), he has been working on the design for his new ‘Double-Decker’ bus.
Old Fred’s bus incorporates many of the design features of the very popular ROUTEMASTER bus that served the City for many years. This is a thoroughly modern vehicle that incorporates several innovative ideas and features that would make it comfortable and safe for passengers, a pleasure to drive and economical to operate.
