Introduction to the WARR Partnership
The WARR Partnership Area
The WARR area was based upon the already existing East Sussex Rural Priority Area, later enhanced by the inclusion of the area covered by the High Weald LMI. This provided an ideal basis for a Local Action Group and the WARR Partnership became responsible for the functioning of the LAG, giving strategic policy direction and providing the driving force.
The WARR Partnership Board
The WARR Partnership Board consists of twenty five members, selected to represent the LAG area, with a majority being from the community, voluntary and rural sectors.
Administrative structure
Rother District Council is responsible for both financial accountability and administration. The Administration Team is locally based - in Battle - and Rother District Council acts as the Accountable Body.
